This video shows how to replace the dome lights. Learn how to do this easy repair yourself with this how-to video
What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace the dome light bulbs on this 2010 Toyota RAV4. If you need parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1aauto.com.
Just take a straight blade screwdriver right in the center here, in between these two lenses. Just carefully pry one of these down, and then same on this side. Pry it down. It's going to release right there. There's two releases, and then there's a little tab right there that goes in the slot. Keep that down, and just grab the bulb right here with your fingers. Pull the bulb down. It's a 194 light bulb. Just line it back up. When you install it, you can test it with this switch right here, or you can turn this switch on as well. To reinstall this cover, just take that little tab that goes in the slot, line it up, and just gently lock it in place.
