In this video, we're going to be working with our 2008 Chevy Equinox. We're going to show you how to remove and replace your dome light bulb. We're doing the one in the center of the vehicle. However, the one out back by the hatch is going to be the same procedure. If you like this video, please click subscribe. We have a ton more information on this and many other vehicles. If you ever need parts for your car, you can follow the link down in the description, over to 1AAuto.com. Here are the items you'll need for this repair.
To replace the bulb in your dome light, shut the power off by pushing the switch all the way to the driver's side. Place a flat blade screwdriver in. Pop out the lens. Push up on the bulb to remove it. Push the tab in, and remove the bulb.
To reinstall the bulb, line up the hooked loops on the ends with both sides. Push up and pull it back down in to secure. Place one side of the lens in first. Push the other up and check for proper operation of the switch, and you're good to go.
