How to replace dome light bulbs on 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 Chevy Equinox

step 1 :Removing the Dome Light Bulb
- Turn the dome light off
- Pop out the dome light lens with a flat blade screwdriver
- Push the bulb tabs up and in
- Pull out the bulb

step 2 :Installing the Dome Light Bulb
- Line up the bulb tabs
- Push the bulb up into place
- Pull the bulb down to secure it
- Slide the dome light lens into place
- Test the dome light with the switch

To replace the bulb in your dome light, shut the power off by pushing the switch all the way to the driver's side. Place a flat blade screwdriver in. Pop out the lens. Push up on the bulb to remove it. Push the tab in, and remove the bulb.
To reinstall the bulb, line up the hooked loops on the ends with both sides. Push up and pull it back down in to secure. Place one side of the lens in first. Push the other up and check for proper operation of the switch, and you're good to go.
