In this video, we're going to be working with our 1996 GMC Sierra K1500. We're going to be showing you how to remove and replace your vehicle's dome light assembly.

Here are the items you'll need for this repair.
Pry out the lens to the dome light. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws. Be sure to remember that this one on the passenger side has the ground strap on it. Pry out the assembly and remove it from the vehicle.
Snap the bezel back around the rest of the dome light housing. Make sure you have it set the same way it came out. Push the assembly back into place and reinstall the two Phillips head screws. Remember to secure the ground strap on the passenger's side. Pop the lens back into place, and you're good to go.
