How to Replace Corner Light Bulbs 1997-2006 BMW 325Xi

step 1 :Removing the Corner Light Bulbs
- Open the hood
- Depress the locking tab with a flat blade screwdriver through the access hole in the fender
- Pry the corner light assembly free with a trim tool
- Disconnect the electrical connector
- Twist the bulb socket counter-clockwise to remove it from the light housing
- Push and twist the light bulb to remove it from the socket

step 2 :Installing the Corner Light Bulbs
- The bulb is a P21W style bulb
- Insert, press and twist the bulb clockwise to install it into the socket
- Insert the socket into the housing and twist it clockwise
- Reconnect the electrical connector
- Push the light assembly into place until the locking tab engages

What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace the front corner bulb on this 2001 BMW 325 Xi. If you need parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
Take a straight blade screwdriver. There's a little tab that we need to push down on here. Just take a trim tool. Get back here. Slide it forward. There we go. It slides right out. What you're pushing down on is this tab right here. You don't have to push it very far, and you don't want to break it. It is plastic. Slide that out. Disconnect the connector right here. Just push down on the tab. Slide it down.
To remove the socket from the light, just twist kind of clockwise. Slide it out. Pull the bulb out of the socket. Push down, twist it to the left or counterclockwise. This bulb is a P21W. You're going to line the tabs up with the grooves in the socket. Push it down. Twist it to the right. Install the socket into the light assembly. There is three tabs on the socket. Line that up with the light just like that. Twist it to the right or clockwise. Take the corner bulb, plug it in. Lock that in place and just slide this in position. There's a couple of grooves. These two tabs need to slide into those grooves and lock it in.
