In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace a front parking light, or the side marker light, on this '97 Deville. It's the same as any '97 to '99 Deville. The only tool you'll need is either an E8 Star Bit, or a 7mm Socket with Ratchet and Extension.
First you want to lift up this part of your cover, and pull it back like that. Then right down there, remove this bolt. Technically the right tool is an E8 Star Bit, but you can actually use a 7mm socket since more people have that in their tool box. Then you stick your finger right in here to lift it up and out, then pull the light forward and out.
If you're just looking to change your bulbs, this one has a little thumb tab, counterclockwise, there's the bulb. The bulb just pulls out, and then back in. Same thing over here.
New light from 1A Auto. If you've broken your original light, or you can see this is actually a low mileage car, and a new light from 1AAuto is already brighter, but the new light from 1A Auto is going to go in there just like the original.
Then twist and twist, and then these teeth right here go right into one of those slots here. Push the harnesses in to place.
