In this video we'll be replacing the turn signal switch which is also the wiper switch and high-beam switch on this 2003 Chrysler Voyager. It's the same procedure as any 2001 to 2007 Chrysler Voyager, Plymouth Voyager, Dodge Caravan, and also, Chrysler Town and Country. The only tools you'll need are a regular-sized Phillips screwdriver and a small flat blade screwdriver.

Your multifunction switch controls your wipers and washes, your high beams, and your turn signals. Some reasons you might want to do this, the internal can get damaged so when you click on your high beams, they don't stay on, or that when you turn, it doesn't cancel and your blinker keeps going; or if you're having problems with your blinkers, your washers, or high beams, this switch could be the problem. You do need to make sure that there isn't a different problem with some of those systems first so that you're just not replacing the switch to try and diagnose the problem, okay? But if the switch is your problem and you want to replace it, it's a pretty easy process. You just need on Phillips screwdriver and there are three screws.

Then once you have those three screws out, this, the top and bottom basically snap together and you just got to pull firmly. I found that this side came apart easier first, and then, you just kind of have to be firm. Then it comes apart, okay? Now the switch itself. First, we'll unplug it. There's a red tab here. You actually have to press with a small screwdriver up above the tab, there's a tab inside, you press that and then slide that tab down, okay? Then press on the tab and disconnect it. Two screws hold it in, one here and one here. Take out your old switch. You can see the new switch from 1A Auto. All the same. Nicer, brighter graphics and no dirt on the end. Go right in.

What I'd advise is, first ... ooh, there's a feather in there... put one screw in, plug it in, and do a quick test and make sure everything's working for you, washers and everything. So everything's working good. Put the other screw in. They don't need to be really tight, but they should be firm. Now this, with the two posts here, this is the bottom, okay, and you want to put a screw up through this one. That actually, then, goes ... you can feed it down in and you have to look from this side. You see right there is the top of that post. You can see there's the screw right there. Just make sure it goes right up into there where it's supposed to go.

I've got the first screw in tight, and now, what I'm going to do is take this piece and this post goes up in this front corner, just kind of goes over. Line up this, and then, do the same thing on the other side. You can press that side together. Press that side together. Then I'll put my two screws back in and we're all set. What I do to get those screws up in there is I put it right onto my screwdriver, line it carefully, try to feed it up in there. It's kind of like that game appear Operation. Don't touch the sides. And if you get it right, it goes right in. I didn't get it quite right. See if I can get it the second time. You just kind of got to feel for the hole up there. Eventually, it goes in and you're going to screw it in.

We've got the screws there and now we'll just get up in there, make sure they're good and tight, and we're all set.
