How to replace a broken, damaged or burnt out rear hatch light bulb to the 10 Nissan Murano.
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
I want to replace these cargo area lights that are in the inside of your hatch, if they're not working. They do have switches. You can turn them on and off. Just if you didn't realize that. But if the bulb has burned out, we're going to need to pop this out of the trim.
I can come on this side. Use our plastic prying tool, you can get this from 1AAuto.com. Reach up here, there's a little slot. Pry it out. The whole lamp assembly's going to come down. So you can actually unplug it. So push this lock in to unplug it, and you can take it out and change it if you need to, or you can leave it hanging while you're in there, but it takes a little fuse-type bulb. That just pops out. Just kind of grab on it.
So replace the bulb. We'll just take on end and put it in here. So the other one in the slot that's in here, just kind of springy. Get it lined up. There it goes. So that's the bulb. You can see how your switch works here. Just moves the contact over, touches the power.
I'll reinstall that. Just plug it in, and then place it back in these locks on the side. Push it back in. And that'll be the same for both sides.
