In this video we're going to show you how to replace the cabin air filter on this '99 Venture; it's the same as any Montana as well as the Silhouette, the GM Minivans. No tools are needed, you definitely want to check this out in your truck because as you can see in the one we did, it was definitely necessary.

Open up your glove box door and then inside you can lift up on that a little bit and pull it down, and then you can see right there air filter access door. You pull that open and boy, you can see there are our filters, and you can see a whole lot of stuff in there already. I'm going to pull one out and that's generally what you're going to find if you've never replaced them before. Phew.
Then there's actually a second one that you pull towards the passenger side and then out; that's not much better. I'm actually going to grab a vacuum and stick it in there and vacuum up most of the stuff.

There's our original ones and actually they've actually been cleaned up a little bit and our new ones, I think we're going to get a little more air flow in this vehicle. The new ones go in and they're marked on them, you probably can't really tell because it's kind of . I think you can see the air flow and the arrow. You want the arrow pointing down because in this the air is coming up from the top and going down into the fan so put the first one in and then we'll slide it over. Let me make sure air flow arrow pointing down. Put the second one in. Check the door, put our cover back on, actually this way, and put everything back into the box.
