Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To access the cabin air filter, you want to remove this foam piece, which takes a flat head screw driver and two plastic screws. We’ll drop those right down. Pull the foam out of the way. To access the cabin filter itself, this panel slides and drops down and you can get back to your cabin filter from there.
To reinsert your filter, find the slot in the housing, and slide your filter up. With this up, you want to grab your cover, and slide it back into place.
Put your foam back in, and put it back into its spot. Tuck it in neatly around the kick panel light, up under the dash. And place your screws up into these screws right into these posts, right here at the top.
To help you stick your screw, so you can find the post fairly easily, since this panel's very flexible. Get your screws started, you can tuck this back into place. Tighten them down just a little bit with the screw driver. Not too tight, they're just plastic. That should be good.
