Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a cabin air filter. This is a 2007 Audi A4. The process is similar for any 2002 to 2008 A4 and S4, and it is also similar for some of the A6s. It's a pretty easy process and no tools are required.
Pull your hood release lever and open up the hood. Pull the safety latch and lift up. There should be a panel here that you can unlock and pull up and out. Then you can pull your weather strip out this comes up and out. Your cabin filter is right here, it's just two little latches. Push towards the back, pull that up and out, then your cabin filter comes up and out.
On the right is the old filter and on the left is the new one from 1AAuto.com. There should be flow marks that point which way you want the air to flow through. In this case, the air will be flowing down through. This filter doesn't have those marks on it, so you want the kind of more fuzzy side up in this case that's where you want the air to come into. Put it back into place and then the cover.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
