Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video we are going to show you how to replace a cabin air filter on this 2005 Cadillac CTS and it's the same part and process on these cars from 2003 to 2010. The only items you'll need are a new cabin air filter from 1AAuto.com and a 7mm socket and ratchet.

Peel back your weather strip and lining this panel right here, there are four 7mm bolts and we'll just fast forward as Don removes those. Lift the panel up and then pull it out while pushing on the rubber strip at the top. Now, right here is where your cabin filter is stored. You just pull up on this tab and there is an identical tab on the other side, pull up on that and then this top panel comes off. Now, just pull your air filter up and out.

On the left, is the old filter in bad shape; on the right, is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they are identical and will fit exactly the same. Take your air filter and with the arrow pointing towards the back of the vehicle, push it down into place, replace that top panel, and push it down into place. Take this panel and feed that top part back into place on the side and then push this back and down. We'll just fast forward as Don replaces those four 7mm bolts. Now replace your weather strip and you are all set.
