In this video we're going to show you how to remove and replace the taillight on this '06 Murano. The only tool you'll need is a 10mm socket with a ratchet and extension. This is the same procedure for the '03 to '05, and we do show you how to service the bulbs on those years.
The plastic trim panel here pulls off. You just have to pull the pins. You have a 10mm bolt down at the bottom, and one at the top. Fast forward through this as I'm just removing those bolts with a 10mm socket and a ratchet and extension. There's two pins now that hold it. One at the top. If you pull there. Pull it out. See the plug here, pull that from the body, and pull the harness out. There's a little connector here. You need to press on that tab, and disconnect it.
So this light is an '06 and '07. It's the LED style. If you have an '03 to '05, you'll have just the regular bulbs. They pull out by turning counterclockwise, bulbs pull out. That's how they replace. And this light, you might be able to see here, this clip came out. Pry it off, and it goes right back into the body of the car. Plug that in, push it down in. Put it into place. You can kind of see from up here where that pin goes in. This one down here. Clicks into place. Start our bolt here, and start our bolt up here.
