step 1 :Removing the Key Fob Battery
- Place a quarter in the key fob slot
- Twist the quarter to open the key fob
- Pry out the battery with a flat blade screwdriver

step 2 :Installing the Key Fob Battery
- Place the new battery into the key fob, positive side down
- Snap the key fob back together
To change the battery on your Nissan key fab I actually need a quarter. There's a slot here on the end of the key. Put your quarter in there, turn it, and pop it open. There's a battery in here. You can try to get it out with your fingernails. If you can't, take a small flat bladed screw driver nad pop it out. They’ve got a little bit of spring to them.
It is a 2025 battery. Take your new battery. It'll go positive side down nad snap in. Put the two pieces back together, and the battery's replaced.
