How to remove, install, change or replace an ambient light sensor on 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 Chevy Silverado
What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace the Ambient Light Sensor on this 2015 Chevy Silverado. If you need parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
All right. So, I want to take this trim panel off. I'm just going to use a trim tool to get underneath here. There's some clips. All right, once it's all released, you can slide this out. We're going to disconnect this connector to the Ambient Light Sensor.
All right. I just twisted the sensor, and slide it down. Once I slide it out, the Ambient Light Sensor, and disconnect the connector, you can squeeze these two terminals and slide it out.
We're going to move this cover right here, and take the Ambient Light Sensor. Just slide this in position like that. Make sure you plug it in right here, just like that.
And then, in this cover there's some clips that are going to slide into some panels on the dash. So, you want those to slide in first. Once those are slid in, we can push down on those pushpins, and lock it in place.
