In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the mass air flow sensor on a 4-cylinder Pontiac G6. This is the model year 2007. It's fundamentally the same from 2005 to 2010. You'll need a Torx 20 bit and a socket driver.
To remove the connector, pull the white tab back, and then press on the center and pull it out. There are two Torx 20 screws that hold the mass flow air sensor into the housing. You'll need a Torx 20 bit and the socket driver to remove those. Once you've got those screws out, go ahead and pull your mass air flow sensor out.
Install the mass air flow sensor. Then reinstall the Torx 20 screws that hold it in place. I go ahead and fast-forward as I tighten up those two screws. Reinstall the connector for the mass air flow sensor by pressing it on and then pushing in on the white tab.
