How to Replace Air Filter 2009-17 Chevy Traverse

How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a dirty, dusty or clogged air filter on 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 Chevy Traverse

  1. step 1 :Removing the Air Filter
    • Remove the six T20 screws from the air filter housing box cover
    • Loosen the hose clamp on the air filter housing cover
    • Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector
    • Lift the cover up and out
    • Remove the engine air filter
  2. step 2 :Installing the Air Filter
    • Inspect the air box and vacuum out any debris
    • Insert the air filter into place
    • The engine air filter housing cover on
    • Connect the air intake hose
    • Tighten the hose clamp with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Tighten the six T20 Torx bolts to the housing cover
    • Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector
