How to Replace Air Filter 2002-08 Dodge Ram 1500

The air filter is in the air-box, which is on the passenger side of the vehicle. There are four clips that hold it. My front one's missing here. Pull the box up a little bit, push it towards the driver side. Then up, and your old air-cleaner comes up and out.

This has the K&N style air-cleaner. It should be cleaned every once in awhile. This one looks good. Put your new air-filter back in. Just make sure it's seated down in there correctly.

Then, there are five tabs on the driver side of the air box, that go into slots on the lid. When you put your lid down, push it over towards the driver side and push down, then pull it over and on. Then, put your clips back on.
