Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to change the bulbs in the third brake light on this 2005 GMC Savannah 2500. Pretty easy to do. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver.
You just want to remove those two Phillips screws on your third brake light. With the screws removed, the third brake light just pulls right out.
To change the bulbs, you just twist them and the bulbs pull right out. You just push your new one in, twist the socket right back into the light, and it's the same thing on the other side. You can just pull the bulb out and push the new one in.
When you're done, just put the third brake light back into place, and you want to tuck in the wire, make sure it doesn't get pinched in there and then you just replace, those two Phillips screws and you're all set.
