They come from the manufacturer, like this, and you have them in all makes and models. They just sit in when you're not using your outlet hold—the charger itself.

This one was lost and maybe you have lost yours. You don't want things falling down in there because it will short circuit the system out. And then also, it will stop the thing from charging, so your cell phone won't get charged.
