Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. We've been telling auto parts for over 30 years.

Hi, everyone. Sue here from 1A Auto and today on our '06 Honda Element, I'm going to show you how to remove and reinstall your rear back seat. If you need any parts for your car, click on the link below and head on over to 1aauto.com.

I pull on this lever and I level the seat, then I take this cover. Take the cover off, pull on that tab, and lift up the plastic. Down here, you'll see this yellow pull-tab. Pull that tab and lift up. Now, if you don't want to remove the seat and you just need access, that's what this hook is for. It goes up there, goes on the handlebar. If you want to remove the seat, you get it in this place position like this, bring it down here, get this knob and handle, push down, lift up and your seat comes right out.

Reinstall. Grab this handle and you're going to put the two little hooks. You got a spot there and a spot there. Prop it up, line it up, and snap it down. On this side, you're going to grab this piece and I like to hold this handle here and I can just slap it down. Grab the string here, pull the back up and you're ready to go. Don't forget to put your plastic cover on. There you go.
