How to replace the rear liftgate panel on 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 Ford Escape

  1. step 1 :Removing the Liftgate Panel
    • Open the liftgate
    • Remove the four Phillips screws from liftgate panel
    • Pull the panel down to loosen it
    • Lower the liftgate
    • Lift the lift glass
    • Push out the upper section of the panel
    • Remove the liftgate panel
  2. step 2 :Installing the Liftgate Panel
    • Insert the liftgate panel into place
    • Press the liftgate panel clips in
    • Tighten the four Phillips screws to the liftgate panel
    • Close the liftgate
