Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall a rear door panel. A rear inside door panel on this Chrysler Pacifica. We show you the driver side, on the passenger side it's the same procedure. The only tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver and a door panel clip tool, as well as a household putty knife could work in place of the door panel clip tool.
First, carefully use your screwdriver. If you go from the back, push it forward, pop it out, or you can come from the front and pop that out there. That comes off. See if everything's right down here. With a screwdriver, pull that out and then there's Phillips screws right in behind. Just fast-forward here as I remove those two Phillips screws. Start here in the front and we'll work your door panel clip tool right in behind. See it come to a clip and pull firmly. It comes right off. There are three connections furthest down here. Just press up on the tab that disconnects. This cable, pull it out, then down. Then there's a little clip here that you undo and remove that. This pulls right up out, you pull it up, and slide it forward, and bring it out.
Reinstall the door panel. Bring this close and plug it in on these cables. This one has a T-end. We put it in. You just slide it back in. It's hard to do. Clip it in there. This one, put it in. Bring the clip around. Pull the cable back and slide it in there. I bring my door panel up. Make sure the top of it goes right down in. Peek around the back here, and just slide back some. My clips go in. Front here, just make sure they're all going in. Fast-forward again as I just reinstall those two Phillips screws. One behind the door handle and one behind the door pull. Then put these little trim doors back in place. They have a longer tab, that goes into the wider slot. Push the longer tab in first.
