Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove a rear door panel on this 2003 Chevy Cavalier, pretty much the same as any '95 to '05 Cavalier four-door. This vehicle has manual windows so the only tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver and a window crank removal tool.

You'll need to remove a few screws: two right down here, and one there, further down. I'm going to speed up here as I remove those four screws and generally you have to put a lot of force down or into the screwdriver to keep the screwdriver in the screw. They're usually in there a little bit tight, but once you get them loose, they come out fairly easily.

Next you'll want a window crank removal tool. In my other videos I do show you how you can remove this with two paperclips if you don't have one of these tools but having this tool is really the easiest way. Slide it right in, it hits a clip, and then you pull that off. You can see the clip right in behind. Like I said, in another video I show you how you can just use a couple of paperclips, reach in there and grab a hold of that clip and pull it up. I'm going to push it back down to reset it.

Now, what you want to do is reach under the bottom and just work your fingers underneath and then give a good sharp pull.

To put your panel back on, you want to put it around the door handle, lift up and push it against the window. You can get the door panel back down, peek in behind, see if my pins are going right in, and reset. Put your window crank handle back on with the washer. Reinstall all four screws.
