How to Remove Lower Engine Cover 2014-19 Chevy Silverado

In this video, learn how to remove the lower engine cover on your 14-19 Chevy Silverado if its broken, or to change your differential fluid.

  1. step 1 :Removing the Lower Engine Cover
    • Remove the six 15 mm bolts securing the cover to the vehicle. Two in the rear, two in the middle, and two in the front
    • There are smaller bolts that do not need to be removed.
    • Support the cover as you remove the last bolt
    • Set the cover aside
  2. step 2 :Replacing the Lower Engine Cover
    • Raise the lower engine cover into place
    • Replace two of the 15 mm bolts to support the cover
    • Replace the remaining four 15 mm bolts
