Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall the driver's seat in this 1998 Toyota Camry. The tools you're going to need to do this are a 14 mm socket and ratchet, an extension, and a flat blade screw driver.

Remove the two 14 mm bolts at the front base of the seat with a 14 mm socket and ratchet. Slide the seat all the way forward. Remove the plastic cover on the rear. Remove this and the 14 mm bolt on the other side. You may want to add an extension to your 14 mm socket and ratchet for a little more room to swing. Tip the seat back and disconnect the connector from the bottom of the seat. You may want to remove the clip from its retainer. Use the small flat blade screwdriver to open the retainer for the harness. Remove it from the seat. Lay the seat back as far as you can. Rotate it up. Remove it through the driver's door.

Reinstall the seat into the car. Reconnect the electrical connector under the seat. Snap the connector back into its slot. Line the seat up. Reinstall two 14 mm bolts at the front. Tighten them down with a 14 mm socket and ratchet. Slide the seat all the way forward. Reinstall the 14 mm bolts in the rear of the seat bracket. Tighten them down with a 14 mm socket and ratchet. Snap the plastic cover back into place on the rear outside bracket and put the seat back into its normal position.
