In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and replace the tailgate interior panel on this 2006 Jeep Liberty. There are no tools required for this.
To remove the panel, pull out along the edges to release all the clips. Then pull up on the clips along the top to release those and the door panel will come up and off. If a clip is left behind, and then use pliers to pry it out and fit it back into the door panel.
Push your tailgate door panel back into place and just hit each of those clips back in. Then you're all set.
