Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall one of the front door panels, we're going to do the driver's side, passenger's side is the same. This is a 2011 Dodge Ram, pretty much the same for all Dodge Rams of this generation. If you have a more loaded model with more accessories, you may have a few more things to unplug but the only tools you're going to need are a T20 Torx driver, a small flat blade screwdriver as well as a Phillips screwdriver.

Start off with a little screwdriver or I've got a little pick. I just carefully . you don't want to scratch your door panel or anything ., there's a little slot here in the back, where it's vertical. You should be able to pry this panel right out. There it goes. Now there's a Phillips screw here, I'm going to remove that. Once you have that out, then get this panel here with a small screwdriver. It just pops off and that comes off like that.

This panel up here, just grab with your fingers. Pull firmly and it comes off. Then there are a series of . there's actually six T20 little plugs actually. You can try and kind of go counterclockwise. Sometimes they don't even come out. Sometimes I just stick my fingernail back behind and pull on them a little bit and pull them out. The centers just come out. There are six of them; remove those. I'm just going to speed up.

Again, there are six little clips. They just have a Torx head screw locking pin in the middle of them. Turn it counterclockwise, pull back on the Torx head, and you should pull that pin out. Once you get those out, then you just start on the bottom here and pull lightly. Get those clips to pop. The other parts of the clips just stay behind and they'll pop right out. You just want to pull it out enough for those to pop out. Then collect them all.

Now we can lift the panel up and off. Then you can reach under and push up on your master switch here. That pops up and out. I'm just going to put this back in place. Pull up on the switch. There's a tab here. Disconnect that, and disconnect the smaller, one and then you can pull the panel right up and off.

Reinstalling the door panel is pretty easy. Make sure your harnesses go right up through. Put the lock button in place. Line up the panel, make sure it's pressed against the door in the front and the back, and it slides right down into place. Again, make sure those wires are there. Take our door handle bezel here and put it in. There are two pins that slide in there in the back, and then, it goes right into place. A large screw goes in. For our little bezel, put those long legs in first. This panel goes up here; just push that right in place. For this switch, plug everything in and put that on. With these little pins, you just want the outside or the first piece in first and then these little screws just go right in to lock it.
