In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall the front door panel on this 2003 Chevy Cavalier. This vehicle has manual windows so this video really only applies to four-door cars with manual windows. The only tool you'll need is you'll need a Philips screwdriver and a door or window crank removal tool.

There's a number of Phillips screws to remove. I'm going to start up here with this one here. There's two down in this door pull, one here and then a few down lower at the bottom of the panel.I 'm going to fast forward here as I take out those six screws. Actually, it's seven screws and some of them are quite difficult so you need to apply a lot of pressure as you kind of see me standing up and pushing down or holding the door and pushing against the screw. You basically need to apply a lot of pressure to the screwdriver to get the screwdriver to hold into the screw and actually even on one, I actually turned it tighter just a little bit just to get the screw to break free and then got it to come back out counterclockwise.Nnow you want to take this trim panel off and then you'll need window handle removal tool. There's also where you can actually reach in back here with like a paper clip and pull the clip out. If you check my other videos, you'll see that. Take this tool. Push that right up and then pull the handle right off. There is the clip right there that holds it on. I'm going to actually push that back down. I'm going to work. Start right up here at the top and pull it nice and quick and firmly and we'll bring that right up and off.

Put your door panel back on. Put it in place and then lift it up like that and you put your top of your door panel against the window. Peek in. Make sure your pins line up. I need to slide it back just a little bit. It's lined up. Put your window crank in and back on. Put this panel back in place and then put all your screws back in place. Again, I'm going to fast forward here as I just put those screws back in place. Actually putting them back in is usually quite a bit easier than getting them out.
