In this video we're going to show you how to remove and replace the door panel on this 2004 Chrysler Sebring. The only tools that you're going to need for this job are a flat-blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver. There are two trap doors here. There's one right here behind the door handle and another here on the pull cup. All you want to do is take a flat-blade screwdriver and stick it into the slot on the side of them and just pry them out. There are six Phillips screws removed, two behind the pull trap doors you just removed and then four, one up there, and then three down along the bottom of the door panel.
We'll fast forward here as we remove those. Take your flat-blade screwdriver and pry off that triangle panel. To release the clips on the back of the door panel, you just want to pull out all the way around the door panel. Once you've done that, you can lift it up and off of your door lock knob. Behind the back of your door panel you'll see here's your door handle rod. You just want to pop that clip up and pull that up and out. You want to disconnect the two harnesses here by just pushing in the tab and pulling them out. Now, your door panel is free.
To reinstall the door panel, you just want to take that door handle rod, put it back into place and re-clip it and then you want to just reconnect your two harnesses. Once you've done, you want to jus line up your door. Put it up and over the door lock knob and down into place. Then you just want to push those clips in around the edges of the door panel. Just forward as we replace the six screws that holds the door panel. Now, just replace your trap doors and that triangular panel.
