Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove the front door panel on this 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited. I do have another video for a second design. This is the first design used on this Limited, and it may be that it's used from 2000-2002.The difference between the first design, which is this design, is when you take off the bezel around the inside door handle, there is no screw behind it. Instead it has a clip that you have to work the panel up and off of. Regardless, you'll need a flat blade screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, and a door panel clip tool, which is available on our website.

Start with the flat blade screwdriver. You want to kind of lift up and out on this panel. It has a little pin that pops up there. Then you can disconnect this speaker by just a little tab, kind of pry up on it with your fingernail or with a screwdriver. Then, using your flat blade screwdriver again, just kind of pry right in the front, in the back of your panel around your door handle here. Then right back here, again, there's just a little tab. Pry it up and pull your connector back off. Take that off.

Right here, again, with a flat blade screwdriver, pry out firmly and pull. It comes out and you can disconnect. It's just to pull right out of the light. Now, use a Phillips screwdriver, and right back in here is a Phillips screw. You can remove that.

Now, you'll want a door panel clip tool. I usually start kind of here in the front. Slide your tool in, go down until you feel the clip, pull it out some. Get right around the clip; get your tool in there as far as possible. Then you've got to pull pretty firmly. Again, I'm going to speed it up here, as I just work my way around with that door panel clip tool. You want to put the tool, you get it around the clip. You put the clip underneath the door panel. Slide it until you feel you hit a clip, then you pull the tool out a little bit. Make sure you get the clip in the groove of the tool. Then pull on both the door panel and the tool at the same time, and you'll hear and feel the pin let go. Like I said, just fast forward as I work my way around the door and release. There are between eight and 10 of the clips on this door. Once you get all the clips released, then you need to kind of pull out on the edges of the door panel, while you work the door panel up. You'll also need to pull out on the door panel a little bit underneath, where it contacts the door handle. You should be able to pull the panel up and off.

The panel comes off. There is still a connector here. You actually take and push this. Let's see here. Pull it out. I have to push this blue part down, and that connector comes off. Here's a better shot of undoing that plug. If you flip the blue clip down, and pull the plug up and out. You can see the last part of that was this part here. You had to get up and off of these two clips here.

Take your flat blade screwdriver. There's a little locking tooth down here; push it up. Pull the bottom of the clip out. Then push this top one down. That clip comes off. Do the same thing for this one.

Then these slide right back into these brackets, like that. So we've got our plate back on here. We just want to feed this connector in, and then bring the clip up like that. The lower pins are longer, so you can kind of put those in place. I'm just kind of looking down at them, putting them in place. You want to bring this up. I bring the top in place. I'm just going to push everything else in place. Make sure you look around behind. Make sure the pins go in. If you remove this, reconnect it. Snap it down in. Reinstall our screw right back here. Put the power door lock around there. Plug your connector in. Press that in. Reconnect the small speaker up here. Then, push that down, and clip it in place.
