Hi. My name is Mike Green. I want to help you save time and money repairing your vehicle. I have 20-plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks. My company, 1A Auto, sells high quality replacement parts over the internet. In this video I'll be showing you how to install these parts. By the end of this video, you'll know how to install them and where to get them. That's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and put the door panel back on on this 2004 Dodge Intrepid. It should be pretty much the same for any '98 to '04. Tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver and a flat blade screwdriver, and, additionally, having a flashlight and a magnet will help also.

You're going to start by removing a series of Phillips screws. Use one little screwdriver. There's one right there, and one in your door handle pull right there. You're going to remove your speaker grille by prying out. Pry out your speaker grille and then there's three screws here, one there, one up there and there should be one there but it's missing on this car. There's a screw there, screw there and then one on the bottom and then three on the bottom. You'll also want to take this little piece of trim, pull it back and out. We're going to speed it up here as I remove those. It counts to be 10 Phillips screws. Then at the end of the fast motion, you'll see me reach into some of those holes with a little extending magnet to pull the screws out so you don't lose them. Once you have those screws out then you want to grab back here and give it a good pull. Then lift your door panel up and pull out on your lock and it'll come off. If you want to remove your panel fully, pull it out and there's a little clip right here on your door handle, clip comes off and then it comes up. Then most of these, the clips just have little pins on them that you just push in. This one has actually a little tab that you can hook with your thumb like that and pull down and comes out. Then there's two little clips here, you just turn them and pull out.

Now you've completed your project in the door, which may be a door handle . we have videos for the regulator and the mirror as well . now, we'll go back and show you how to put the door panel back on. Now I want to reconnect all my harnesses. For the speaker, put this back in place here and then the harness also has a pin that you put in. With the door panel close, I'm just reaching over, inserting my lock rod or my door handle rod and putting the clip on. Now I lift the door panel up. Make sure your lock button is coming through here, push the top onto there and push down. Then make sure the pins over here on the side are lining up, push it into place. We'll fast forward a little bit as I do the three bottom screws first. These middle ones for the speakers are kind of difficult because they're really far back, I'm using a magnet. You can either do this or magnetize your screwdriver. I just use this long magnet, put it back in there, feel for it, start it with the magnet. Do the same thing with this one. If you don't have one of these little extendable magnets, it's a great tool to have. For these ones also it's not bad to have a flashlight around, so you can see where they are and get the screwdriver in there on them. Again there's another one here, right in here, but this car was missing that one. Now we'll speed up the video again as I do the other eight screws and I do have a little trouble with those screws up on the top. They're deep set in there too. If your water shield shifts around you're just going to have to pierce through the water shield, just a note for you. Slide your trim panel down in here, push it on. There are two tabs that go in first on your speaker grille and it presses on.
