In this video, we'll be showing you how to remove and reinstall the door panel, the front door panel on this Dodge Durango. It's a 1998. The process is the same for pretty much 98 to '03. The only tool you'll need is a Phillips screw driver. First, you're going to remove five Phillips screws. There's two underneath, one there, then one here by the back, then one right underneath the door pool there, one right near the mirror up here, and then one in behind your door handle right there. You want to remove those screws. You will lift up on the door panel, and then pull it out. Then, as you're pulling it out, there's a connector here for your mirror switch. There's a tab right there you pull up and out. There is a clip here for your door handle lock. You use your finger and push around and pull that up and out.
Then, there's a connector here for your window switch that you basically grab a hold of. You can either pull it down and off, which is sometimes difficult. Pull it down and off. Your other thing you could do is if you can't pull that down and off, there are just three screws that hold the switch on, so you can just use a Phillips screw driver and pull that switch off. There you go, your door panel is off. To reinstall, it's just a reverse of the procedure. Make sure down here is the lock to push your lock through. Then reconnect your window switch. Reconnect your door handle rod. Then, reconnect your mirror switch. Pull the lock rod through. Put the handle up to control your clips go into place. Push against the door and slide it down and reinstall your screws.
