step 1 :Removing the Door Panel
- Pry up the window switch panel by hand
- Disconnect the window switch wiring harnesses
- Disconnect the mirror switch wiring harness
- Pry off the trim piece inside the door handle with a flat blade screwdriver
- Remove the two T30 Torx screws inside the door pull
- Remove the Phillips head screw inside the door handle bezel
- Pull off the door handle bezel
- Disconnect the door lock wiring harness
- Pry out the door panel with a door panel clip tool or putty knife
- Lift the door panel up and off
- Disconnect the speaker wiring harness

step 2 :Installing the Door Panel
- Make sure all the pins are in the door panel
- Connect the speaker wiring lead
- Lift the door panel into place
- Push in the door panel clips
- Connect the door lock wiring harness
- Push on the door handle bezel
- Insert the Phillips screw into the door handle bezel
- Insert the two T30 screws into the door pull
- Push on the trim piece inside the door handle
- Connect the window switch wiring harnesses
- Connect the mirror switch wiring harness
- Push in the window switch panel

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and then reinstall the driver's front door panel, similar to the passenger's front door panel, on this '99 Intrigue, same as any '98 to '03 Intrigue. The tools you'll need are Phillips and flat blade screwdriver, a T30 Torx driver, and either a putty knife or a door panel clip tool.
Start here, take this panel, lift up carefully, and pull it down. Then underneath disconnect the two harnesses and disconnect your mirror harness. Usually I take a little screwdriver, push the little tab, push it down, pry it up, and pull it out. Use your screwdriver again and, right in behind your door handle, you'll see a little slot. Put your screwdriver in, pry out and pull this little panel out. There are three screws. There's a Phillips screw right there and then this bezel comes off and you have to disconnect your switch. There's a T30 screw here and another T30 screw underneath that door pull. Speed it up here as I use a T30 Torx screwdriver to remove those two Torx screws and a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw for the door handle bezel.
There's a little thumb tab; pull that connector off. You want either a putty knife or, if you have one, a door panel clip tool. Put the knife up and under, slide it until you feel a pin, give it a good pull, slide it until you feel the next one, and keep going up and one usually ends up in here. Pull it out and then our speaker here needs to be disconnected, press the little tab and disconnect the speaker. Your door panel is off.
Before you reinstall, just make sure our pins are all in place. To put it in, just reconnect the speaker if you have the Bose sound system. Make sure all of these . actually this has to go up through here and all those go through there. Look it in and you can see right down and you can see your two top pins. Just look those right into place and this speaker. There are just a couple of line up pins that go in the door, make sure all of your clips are going in, just go around the door.
Reconnect the door lock button, slide this bezel back into place, Phillips screw. Just speed it up here as I put that Phillips screw and then my two T30 Torx screws and remember that one that goes up behind the door pull. It does go in at a little bit of an angle; it doesn't go straight in. This one I'm starting here, you can see how it goes at a bit of an angle. This trim plate goes in, little slots on the bottom. Reconnect our mirror and our two window lock connections. Put the top in first and snap the bottom down into place.
