In this video, we're going to show you how to remove an anti-theft lug nut. If you've ever been in a situation where you had to remove the tire and you've either lost the key to it or you just misplaced it or what not, you've run into this situation. We're going to show you a couple different methods and a couple of different kinds of tools that you can use to do it.

In this case you got a set with a bunch of different sizes. Pick your appropriate size. This one kind of got a taper to it. Fit it over it and you give it a couple of whacks with the hammer, once you've done that you'd fit in, in this case, the half inch extension and put it on to your impact gun. It works best with the impact guns.

Another type you can see here has little ridges in it and these come in all different sizes. What you do is you place this on there, give a couple of whacks with the hammer and those bridges will actually dig into the metal and get your grip.

We've selected the right size that's going to fit on this lock nut, put it on, and give it a tap. Get my air impact gun out and we'll see if we can get this off and there we go.
