How to Raise Support 2011-16 Subaru WRX

Created on: 2017-08-02

How to raise and support your vehicle with a jack and jack stands on 16 Subaru WRX.

  1. step 1 :Where to Jack Up the Vehicle
    • Jack a floor jack from the pinch weld
    • Place the jack stand under a suspension point
    • On the rear, jack up the floor jack from the rear differential
    • Place the jack stand under the subframe

Tools needed

  • Jack Stands

    Floor Jack

We've got this 2016 WRX up on our lift. If you were going to put it on a two post lift, there's spots here, in the pinch wells, on either side. That's where these go. If you're doing this on the ground, you could put your floor jack over here, and jack it up. I would place the jack stand under a suspension point, like this, in the front. There's one on either side.

You can also lift the rear of the car from the ground with floor jack, by placing it, underneath the rear differential, and you can lift the car up. And then place your jack stands, either here, or over here on the sub frame.
