If you're looking to jack just one of the front wheels up, take your floor jack, and go underneath, and you want to jack right where the frame welds come together, and then you can put a safety stand, or jack stand, right under there. You can also jack underneath one of the control arms, if you're looking to support the suspension. If you jack there, then again, you can put a safety stand under the frame, behind the wheel.
To use safety stands, you jack the vehicle up first, then you run this as high as you need it. This one even has a lock in it, that you put in. Then lower the vehicle down.
Bring our vehicle up, put our jack stand in place. Put it up as high as it needs to go. Put the lock in, and now lower the vehicle slowly onto the jack stand.
When you want to remove the jack stand, jack the vehicle up to take the weight off the stand. Remove the locking pin. Lift up. That lets that down. Take it out. Now lower the vehicle.
Thanks for watching. Visit us at 1AAuto.com for quality auto parts, fast and free shipping, and the best customer service in the industry.
