Andy points out the safe lift and support spots, and points out a few points you definitely need to avoid!
In this video, I'm going to show you how to raise and support a first-generation Buick Enclave. The scissor jack is located right here behind this panel. Just like that. And the tool bag is attached to that. Now, the scissor jack is only for emergency situations. Where you want to place this scissor jack is right along the pinch weld. There's a little arrow that will show. This would go on the pinch weld right there, and just support like that in those four locations. In the front of the vehicle, you have the subframe. If you want to support anywhere in these locations, right here, you want to do it pretty evenly. There's a bar right here. That is to protect the fuel tank. You don't want to raise up on that bar at all. And watch out for the fuel tank. Don't put any jack stands or floor jacks underneath the fuel tank. Watch out for any of these AC or heater hoses. You don't want to get those.
