Hey friends, it's Len down at 1A Auto. Today we're working on a 2010 Nissan Altima. First thing I want to show you is where the lift points are.
It's up in the air right now so it's easier for you to see. We're going to come right over here. On this particular make and model, they want you to lift along the pinch rail. If the lift post wasn't there, you'd be able to see a couple little triangles cut out, and that'll let you know that that's where to lift it. One here. I'm looking for those triangles. If you could see them, that'd be great, but I got the lift where it's supposed to be. There would be another set right here. There's also an additional bracket right there, gives it a little bit of support.
Come around. It'll be same thing on the other side. You get the additional bracket for support. It's right on the pinch rail. You don't want to go on the plastic right there, that won't support your vehicle. You don't want to go on the gas tank, that won't support the vehicle either. We're going to come along to the front on the other side. Right here along the pinch rail, this is where the safety zone is. You don't want to go on the floor. You don't want to go even on this. If you had to and you couldn't get to this pinch rail for some reason, you can go right over here. But that's preference. But I would definitely just go with the manufacturer specified lift points. Right here, over there, boom, boom. As shown.
