How to raise and support your vehicle with a jack and jack stands on a 2007 Hyundai Accent
Jack Stands
Floor Jack
To lift this Hyundai Accent on our two post lift, there are spots marked on the pinch welds where you place the lift arms on both sides, here, over here.
If you were going to jack this up on the ground, you could place your jack right here and lift up, and then put a jack stand under here. You could get one wheel off.
If I was going to jack up just the front wheels of the car, you can place your jack here, lift it up. Again, put your jack stands here on the subframe. You don't want to put it over here. This is just sheet metal of the body, it's not really load-bearing. Right here can support the weight of the car.
At the rear, there are points at the pinch weld where you can put the lift arms on both sides. Same thing, if you want to just take off one wheel, you can jack up the car here, and you can place a floor jack here to support it, under the subframe on either side, and that's how you'd lift and support this.
