Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the camshaft position sensor on this 2005 Ford Focus with the 2 liter 4 cylinder engine. The only tool you'll need for this is an 8mm socket and a ratchet.
The cam shaft position sensor is located right here. It's held in with an 8mm bolt. We'll just fast forward as Don removes that bolt. Once that's removed, pull the sensor up and out. On the underside of that harness, push the tab and pull it free.
Take your new position sensor and push it down into place. Replace that 8mm bolt. Reconnect your harness and you're all set.
