Phillips Head Screwdriver
Trim Tool Set
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Hi everyone. Sue here at 1A Auto, and today we're going to show you how to remove and replace the mirror switch in the master switch on the driver's door for our '07 Mazda 3. If you need any parts for your vehicle, click on the link below and head over to 1AAuto.com.
I'm going to take a trim tool, and I'm just going to pry it underneath. Twist it and lift it up. Perfect. Now we expose the two power switches. Press on that tab. Wiggle it out. Same on this side.
This is how you remove the mirror switch. Take a Phillips screwdriver. It looks like there's three mounting screws holding the switch in.
To reinstall, reinstall the three mounting screws. Hand-tighten it down with a Phillips. Put the main power switch on. Always look at your plug. Make sure that's there's no bent electrical connectors, no dirt in there. Same with the flat spade side. Make sure they're all good.
Line it up. Click it in. Here's the power mirror. Same way. To reinstall I have a key right here. It's going to slide into here and the backside's just going to snap down. Guide it in. Push down a little on it. And you're done.
