How to Check Oil Level 2004-13 BMW 325Ci E46

What's up, guys? I'm going to show you how to check and top off your engine oil in this BMW.

To check your oil level, there's a dipstick right here on the driver's side. Pull the dipstick out. I'm going to wipe it with a rag.

I'm going to reinsert the dipstick, let it sit for a second. I'll pull it out again. Now we're going to check. As you can see, you want the engine oil in between these two little markings on the dipstick, and our engine oil is right up to the top, which is good. So we don't have to add any. And then we'll reinsert the dipstick back into the tube. Make sure it's all the way down.

If you wanted to top off your engine oil, you're going to go to this cap right here and twist to the left and then pull it out. And then you can put a funnel in, and then you can top off your oil with the appropriate oil. You can find the appreciate oil type in your owner's manual. Then when you're done, pull the funnel out. Put our cap back on and twist it to the right.
