We're going to open the hood. The release is under here, so this will be right above your right knee. The safety release is under here. Push it to the passenger side, and the hood will lift up. It's got a hood strap, so there's no prop rod or anything. We'll start on this side of the engine bay.

This is your brake fluid reservoir, and with a manual transmission, it's also the reservoir for the hydraulic fluid for the clutch master cylinder. There's a tube that goes down to the clutch master cylinder. This up right here is filled to max, so it's perfect right now. It's nice and clean and clear. When this gets old, it will get brown and dirty, and you want to make sure that the fluid level stays at least between maximum and minimum. You don't want it to be below this. It should be somewhere between these two right here. It's perfect.

Here we have the battery. This is your negative terminal and your positive terminal.

Washer fluid reservoir.

This is your oil cap, and on these vehicles, the oil filter is on the top, so when you do an oil change, you change it up here.

This is your coolant overflow reservoir.

Of course, your radiator cap. These are your low and full levels, so when it's cold, it will be down here at low. When it's hot, it will be up here at full. You want to make sure that the fluid stays somewhere between these two lines. When you're adding coolant, the car should be cool and you should check it in the radiator.

All right. So, when you want to check your oil level, the dipstick is right here. Wipe this off. You'd see here, so here on the dipstick, you've got two holes. This one here is the low fill mark. This is the high fill mark. You can probably just see the oil is nice and clean in this. You can just see it's just at the high mark, which is where it should be.
