Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!

What's up, guys? Here we have a 2013 Cadillac SRX we're going to be working on. If you need parts for your vehicle, check out 1aauto.com.

We're going to pop the hood. To pop the hood, right next to the kick panel there's a little lever with a hood. Just pull that lever. To release the safety, there's a little lever right here. You're going to push it towards the driver's side and lift it up.

To remove the air filter, we're going to first disconnect this electrical connector. There's a little lock tab on here. You're going to pull up on that little red lock tab. We can push down on the lock that holds the connector on or pull the connector off. See that's that little tab that you push on to release that. And the wire is secured right here.

So we use a little trim tool. Get underneath here and try to not break that. Pull that out of the way. We can take this snorkel off here. We use a straight blade screwdriver and unscrew the worm clamp. Slide this off like that, and the air filter box itself is held on by these clips. I'm just going to slide those up. Be careful. Sometimes you can pinch your fingers in the clips. There's one there, one there, and there's one here on the backside. Once you get those off, you can pull this top part of the air box off, and it's going to slide out. There's these retainers that hold it in. Those slide right out. You can grab the air filter and pull it straight up.

This air filter's really not too dirty, so we're going to reinstall it. Just line it up with the box, push it down, take the upper part of the box, and we're going to line those four tabs up in the back. Sometimes this can be a little tricky. Once lined up, you can start clamping these clips down. Pull this up, lock in place. Do the same with the back one.

Take the snorkel and line that up. This little tab lines up with that. Get a straight screwdriver, tighten this clamp down. Take this wiring harness for the mass air flow sensor, clip it in here and then line the connector up, push it straight on and push down on the lock tab.
