How to adjust the parking brake on 2012 Nissan 370z.
10mm Socket
Ratchet
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
In this video, we are going to be adjusting the parking brake cable in a 2012 Nissan 370Z. If you need parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1Aauto.com.
So we're going to grab with your two hands on the cup holder, and just pull up. This guy's got extra stuff in his, so just move that aside. And that right there, see how loose that is? We're going to fix that right up. So, all we have to do is tighten it. We're going to use a deep 10 millimeter socket and ratchet. Just pull it up just a little bit. We're going to tighten it. I'm starting to feel tension on it right about there.
I'm going to tighten that just a little bit more. You can adjust this accordingly if you need it tighter or looser, but that's the adjustment right there. And that feels pretty good.
Put this back together. Slide this through here. There's clips on this, so these line up with these holes. Push this wire through. Push it down.
