1A Auto reviews 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03 Toyota Camry front wheel hub available on 1aauto.com
Here, we have our old hub that we removed from our vehicle and our new hub from 1AAuto.com. As you can see, these hubs have the same shank on the back to sit down into the wheel bearing, once we install our new one into this hub. We have the same splines in the back and the same bolt pattern and center bore on the front. Our new one even comes with a new axle nut, because every time you remove the axle nut, you have to re-torque it, and it should be replaced with a new nut.
Your hub is what holds the wheel into the bearing, and it's where your CV axle mounts into the splines to turn that hub and put power to the wheels. These splines can become damaged or wiped out over the years, as well as having a bunch a of broken wheel studs which can be changed on their own (or you can do them in a whole set like this), as well as some rust build-up issues, and material getting onto the backside of the hub and grinding into the bearing or creating issues. If you need a new hub for your vehicle, this new part from 1A Auto is going to go in direct fit just like your original equipment, and fix you up right.
This video shows you how you can replace the front wheel hub and bearing assembly on your 97-05 Pontiac Grand Prix and other front wheel drive GM vehicles.
