Booster Jump Pack - Available on 1A Auto

This is a compact, portable lithium jump pack available from 1AAuto.com. Comes with a nice little carrying case. Can unzip it. So it's this small device. You charge it up using the included USB-to-outlet adapter. Comes with the charging cable, and when this is fully charged, it has a peak current of 400 amps and will jump start an engine up to 5.4-liters. It also has an available flashlight. You hold the button for two seconds. Turns the light on. You press it again, has SOS mode and then a strobe mode, and then you hold it to shut it off.

It also has USB ports for charging, and comes with an included adapter cable. It has a lightning cable, android and then an older iPhone cable. But you can plug it in. Any USB will fit. And you just hit this. Turn the On button on. So those four blue LEDs indicate that it's fully charged, and when you plug it in, it will charge up your phone or any other device. So that's a neat feature of this.

And, of course, the main feature if you want to use it to jump-start your vehicle. When it's turned on, you open up this little door here. Plug only goes in one way. You plug it in. Hook these up to your negative and positive terminals, and you should be able to jump-start the vehicle. This little red LED indicate power. You simply disconnect it when you're done. Some features of this is it is spark-proof. It has reverse polarity protection. It also has short circuit and reverse charging protection, has under-voltage and over-current protection. It has an overheating protection, so it's very safe to use, and it's great to keep in your car.

And we'll try to start our vehicle. The battery is dead. I took the key out of the ignition. Got our little booster pack, go under the hood. This booster pack works with engines up to 5.4 liters. This has the 5.3, so it should be about the maximum you'd want to do with this. We'll take our cables out. We'll hit the On button. It's fully charged. Open up this little door here where it shows the car. Put our connector in, only goes in one way. It's keyed. These are live. It tells you, this nice little light up LED.

These wires are long enough, so we'll go in here, open up the positive terminal, get them on here and then get the negative on. This LED lights up green here to show that you have good continuity and it's good connection. Put the key in, start it up. Once it's running, disconnect your negative terminal, disconnect the positive. Shut this off by holding the button. Disconnect it. You can put this away and continue on your trip or wherever you need to go. Hopefully your batter was only dead because maybe you left the lights on, but if there's another problem, you should have that checked out.
