What goes down, also goes up.
Window regulator fit and worked perfectly. Original regulator lasted 11 years, hopefully this replacement regulator will last just as long if not longer.

Worked but installation trickey
The regulator fit and worked okay but one of the mounting points for the motor assembly flange was obstructed by the motor housing and provided only a 0.2 inch clearance for the nut / screw thread.

Defective part, but made good
After a couple of hours tearing the door apart and replacing the motor and regulator, the pt did not work. Motor was defective. After calling customer support to determine cause, they replaced the part at no charge. Had to perform the same tear apart the following week when the part arrived, but it worked perfectly.

2005 Crown Vic window regulator
Got it quick, plug and play, simple straight forward installation, no issues. These are $30 at the junk yard. For $20 more Im assured of a new or rebuilt unit that will last far longer than the unknown junkyard part.

I believe I used a 1/4 in. Bolts with 1 in. Diameter washers and nylon lock nuts. I think it’s 2 total bolts. 4 washers and 2 nuts
Franklin F May 21, 2018
The two bolts are for attaching the glass to the regulator. I believe you will also have to install 4 bolts to install the regulator onto the door.
Franklin F May 21, 2018
Its been a year since I installed the window regulator so I just cant remember. Perhaps you should email this question to the vendor.
