Tired of buying a new used car, 1 part at a time.
Finding the correct part was simple on 1A. Shipping was quick. Toughest part was getting the door panel off. A few bolts to swap over to the new part. Make sure your window is in the track before tightening all bolts. 1/2 hour total time investment. Watch the "how to" video. Auto shop charged me almost $300 and 3 hours waiting around for the same thing on the back window, this was $45 and 1/2 hour of my time. If youre here looking for parts, you may have a money pit like mine, 1A will be a lot less costly than the repair shop. Shall I mention the driver side mirror, dealer wanted $551 for 1 OME mirror plus labor. Bought left and right from 1A for $60 plus 1/2 hour install. Anyone else buying a whole new used car, 1 part at a time?

This is the third time that I have ordered parts from 1aauto and I am very happy with the parts received and the easy to follow video instructions that you provide. I highly recommend 1aauto to friends and family if they ever need parts or installation videos.

works fine
This was the third window in my 2002 Buick Century that I have had to do this repair. The parts all fit and they all work fine and were reasonably simple to install. The how to video helped, but it was for a different car. They may be a little slower than the originals, but not much. Hopefully the fourth window (the drivers) will keep working for a while. If not, I will be back for that part.

Perfect fit , your videos made the direct replacement extremely easy, would definitely purchase from you again! You also made the wire harness longer than factory which made it way better than stock, thanks again.

Excellent Product, Poor Shipping
The window regulator and motor looks to be a very good product and is working well. Time will tell if it holds up as good as or better than the factory unit. I was very pleased with the service I received when ordering. My review would have been 5 stars, but the box arrived damaged and opened. It looked to be a cheap box that was never sealed well at the distribution center. My local mail carrier had to tape it up when she received it from UPS or Fed X (??), in order to keep the product from falling out. Still, overall I am very happy to have found 1A Auto.

If more sealant is required for reinstalling the vapor barrier, what type is used?
Dave H January 31, 2018
silicone if needed
DANIEL T January 31, 2018
Dave, Its been close to a year I replaced this part and as far as I can remember no sealant was required on the online video ( no water issues what soever) Respectfully, John
J Z January 31, 2018
I have installed 4 of these and never needed sealant. The plastic is attached with black tacky stuff, I never remove it, just cut it so some stays on the plastic and some on the door. When the plastic is replaced, just press it closed like a ziploc bag. It seems to stick better in warm weather, but havent seen any issues from this method.
