Window Regulator Installation Tips and FAQ.

This part makes a great replacement and has substantial cost savings over a dealer unit.

Please Note: We are committed to offering the absolute best value for our customers. If you want a highest quality window regulator at a great price, please see our other "High Quality" window regulator listings. If price is your main concern, we are offering this economy style window regulator as well. It is the same one that most internet sellers are offering. While this window regulator is a good replacement, it is not backed by the same warranty as our high quality regulator.

Installation

  • This repair is easier than you may think. You'll find our installation videos helpful. In our experience removing and replacing the door panel is the most involved step in the repair. On most vehicles this only requires removing a few screws and push-in clips.
  • You'll get a great feeling of accomplishment after you complete this repair knowing you saved money, and you didn't have to give up your car for a day at the repair shop. Your passengers and other drivers will be amazed.

Fit guaranteed

  • 1A Auto will refund you with no hassle, if this window regulator does not fit the application stated.
    •  This regulator will install just as your original does. Save time and money.

Quality

  • Be confident this part will work right. Every regulator is tested after assembly to make sure all mechanisms are working correctly.
  • It is important that your new regulator works for a long period of time. The design of this regulator is tested to withstand 10,000 cycles. That is enough to raise and lower your window 3 times per day for 9 years.

Value

  • Windows that don't work can be frustrating. They can also hurt your vehicles value. An inoperable window could mean $200-$500 discounted off a dealer trade value or asking price.
  • Some shops and dealers charge more for parts and repairs when they think you don't know what is involved. Now you can get the value you deserve. Knowing what this repair entails can be the difference between the value of doing it yourself, or the pain of a costly repair bill.

Lifetime Warranty

This item is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. In the event this item should fail due to manufacturing defects during intended use, we will exchange the part free of charge (excludes shipping charges) for the original purchaser. Please keep your invoice for proof of this warranty.

Quality Part and Excellent Video Training for the DIY
I was very impressed with the replacement part. I'm not a mechanic by any means but decided to tackle this job on our 2001 Infiniti I30 after reading the reviews and watching the installation video numbers times. Part was delivered promptly, packaged for damage protection and packed safety. I will be using 1AAUTO for all my future part needs and highly recommending them to other people. Thanks again for the excellent quality and service!

Perfect replacement!
The window regulator/motor works great! The hardest part was verifying if I needed the 2-pin or 6-pin version. Thanks to the videos on the website, my husband was able to easily to move my door panel and unhook the old regulator to see I needed a 6-pin version. The part arrived very quickly (3 days) and was well packaged. My husband was able to change the regulator in less than an hour! The auto up/down window feature works so I'm a happy customer. I'd checked the dealer for the parts and they were six times more than 1A Auto!! This was for parts only!! I'll will definitely check out 1A Auto for any future parts I may need!
